At the beginning of the game the announcers lied about both teams to prop up their fanbases.

FSU has some talent in spots but they have zero explosiveness on offense and have zero run defense but its still early. with that said DJ has never been a great QB but give GT credit. Brent Key is a GREAT coach who looked very confident before the game. He broke it down perfectly saying that GT had to win the LOS. Any good coach knows the games are won up front with no exceptions.

Mad respect for GT and how they showed up and showed out!!! Now can we talk about the glitching in your eyes Jake as you read the teleprompter? LOL

GT was told over and over and over again that they were not good enough to be beat FSU but--the game was played--and they won. If you don't think FSU deserved to be in last year's playoffs because Vegas tagged them an underdog in a match up with ALB/UM. if you have any integrity at all, you'll admit that this proves why FSU should have been given a chance to play in the playoffs.

Yet more evidence that you can't microwave a line.

I’m not a big fan of FSU as a Vols fan but Georgia Tech surprised me! Wow! I mean they beat the Vols before and I thought that we just suck! Georgia Tech is pretty good

Norvell showed his inability to develop culture when he couldn’t motivate his players to show up for an NY6 bowl?

You would think FSU looked like UF the last four years

The Tech offense is a well-conceived version of the triple option, so FSU with all their new starters was in the worst possible position to be ready to stop it in Week 0. I suspect that their defense will look a LOT better as the season goes on.

FSU really struggled to run the ball because Tech was stacking the box and FSU didn't trust DJ on deep throws. They either needed to let him air it out to loosen up the box or go with another QB.

It was pretty much worst-case scenario for FSU, my hunch is they will bounce back if, as you guys pointed out, they let the veteran QB go for it. Replace him if it doesn't work out, but you gotta let him try.

I was pumped after first drive. When I saw GT Offensive Linesmen chip off the D line and blocking linebackers 5 yards down the field.

As an FSU fan, I didn't feel confident in this game at all I was excited but extremely cautious. We had 10 players drafted on defense and offense, not to mention seniors who just left the program. Props to GT for bringing their A game however, some of the most key positions for FSU are currently being filled by guys that haven't even been on campus for 8 months. In contrast, GT has one of the highest returning production teams in the nation. You could obviously see the difference in cohesion between the teams as GT was a unified front both in Defense and Offense and FSU looked lost on both sides of the ball. Our offense was also missing Hakeem Williams a player who had 8 starts last season, Benson seemed to be in excellent coverage which shut down a lot of the passing game. I will have to go back and rewatch the game but I saw at least 8 players throughout the game that were freshmen in some key positions. I don't want to take away from awesome coaching and playing by GT but week zero FSU will not look like week 4 FSU. I feel like FSU fans were sold a bag of goods by the media and in some cases the FSU staff as well, I think this year this outcome will play itself out across the nation at the highest levels. I don't see any team in the top ten that will be undefeated every team has multiple pitfalls that can occur. With the 12 team playoff the top 10 teams have bounties on their heads and teams that less than a year ago would have had no road to the playoff have a chance of making it. One more thing GT lost to Georgia last year by 8 points in their last regular season game, so yeah they are really good and deserve the praise.

With GT's strength of schedule and the win, they could be on their way! And as an FSU, i will be pulling for them to go get it!

I think it's funny it's able to spot the issue and it's pretty clear it's Coach norvell

What would have been suprising is if DJ played better than average which has always been what he's shown during his time in colledge. I am surprised that the offensive FSU line was not able to win against Georgia Tech's line. Breaking even at QB and losing the offensive line gave us exactly what happened a very close game score wise. I did not see much from either team to believe they can win the ACC. We'll it made for a very exciting game to watch without any special plays and kept me tuned for the entire game. Ray
