Personally, I feel that if hypixel where to ban "Butterfly Clicking" I think the server would lose a lot of active members that butterfly click, and they would go look for other servers.

in bedrock pvp, double clicking is seen as cheating and many pvp servers will ban people who double click (double clicking is very broken on bedrock)

The day that butterfly clicking becomes bannble on Hypixel is the day that I stop playing it. Butterfly clicking isn't the real issue here, the issue is double clicking, but with some mice (like mine, the roccat kain 102) it doesn't even let you disable double clicking, the only option it has is "No Debounce" but even with that off it still double clicks, and with the way I hold my mouse, It's very hard to not double click when butterfly clicking. To me, making any of these (butterfly clicking, double clicking) bannable is a stupid idea. the clicking method that should be bannable is drag clicking, since it can get over 60 cps and make you literally not take knockback. No matter the situation, anti-cheats are very bad at detecting autoclickers, the way that most (if not all) anti-cheats detect autoclickers is by the cps, so banning any clicking method in general is a stupid idea. And the best point I'm going to make from this whole paragraph... hypixel does what gets them money, if they ban the most popular clicking method a lot of people will leave the server for good.

back in the day when things like this were becoming a thing, it was frowned upon heavily but ever since newer practice servers have been more reliant on simply taking less kb this has become the method for becoming good on the game, even though its pretty much the same as installing an autoclicker and clicking over it
