As the pandemic creates uncertainty about how the next academic year will look, many prospective students are questioning whether it is worth going to uni or not.

Our panel of education experts offer advice on the value of a university degree and the importance (or otherwise) of your subject and university choice when entering what is a rapidly changing labour market.

Victoria Lambert, Chris Millward and Dr Charlie Ball compare the value of alternatives such as apprenticeships and foundation degrees as well as specialist institutions and universities across the pond.

Chris offers advice on student rights whilst Charlie discusses whether you should defer your university offer to 2021 and if so, what you can do to add value to your career prospects in the meantime.

"The choices you make now about your career and your education will have a bearing on where you are later in your career but will not put you on an immutable path"
