In this demo you will learn to setup up the hardware and program for Arduino MEGA 2560 using Simulink (in external mode) to control a linear servo (Firgelli/Actuonix PQ-12-R), and read and watch the analog input of from a bend sensor (Sparkfun) and force sensitive resistor (Flexiforce).
Good Luck in Your Projects! Keep Making!

PS. I used Matlab 2016b, and installed the Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware (for the Simulink blocks), and Arduino IDE 1.0.5 (for the Arduino drivers) before hand.

This is really cool. I'm working on a project using the Actuonix PQ12 R and force sensitive resistor too. It would be great if you can show more in detail such as how to set up all these things clearly

I was trying to work with flex sensor using arduino hardware and was wondering if a circuit diagram can be shared. Currently on following the steps the circuit works fine when corresponding output is received at the arduino but on connecting with simulink it shows only zero voltage for changing flexion.

I need to compare the phase difference between two analog input signals coming from 2 optical sensors. I tried to convert the signals to a series of pulses and then measure the lag but didn't get me anywhere so far. Do you know a way in which I can analyze the phase difference in my application ? Thanks for the video.

How can we convert an analog signal to a digital signal using Simulink and Mega 2560?

hi aaron
cool fundamental teaching !
one question here. what if i did not the resistor ? is there any damage to micro controller ? thanks.
Can you make tutorial on gyroscope mpu 60050 ?
thanks aaron
