⌖ This has been a long time coming.
I began my Final Fantasy XIV journey a long time ago. Back when we had main attribute points to distribute. But, I took a long break from the game to start this channel and finally came back January 2019.
And boy has it changed. With Shadowbringers right around the corner and my Early Access ready, I thought this would be the ideal time to do a video on the game.
Especially with so many of you wondering if it's worth the purchase.

Dude, just a piece of constructive criticism: as someone that doesen't play the game at all you kinda lost me when you started blaberring about item level, Omega Raids, Savage Raida or whatever they are, because I have no idea of what any of this is supposed to mean.

The structure of the video seems to imply that it is targeted towards people like me to know what to expect of the game, if that's the case you should be more careful about throwing terminology around.

As a new player I would literally not understand anything in the video about the game. This is the problem with these videos, the creators assume I even know what ffxiv is and all the raids and systems it has.

I wish I had friends to play FF. Every MMO I play, I end up playing solo and just quit in the end. Leveling alone sucks too :/

My single favorite thing about this game is the ability to switch class/job on the fly. It just feels great to know that you can enjoy ever playstyle on one char

Looking good in an MMO gives you a DPS bonus, many still not know this.

I'm actually surprised you didn't mention the music. This game has some of the best and most engaging music, especially the dungeon and boss music at endgame. It really draws you into the battle, plays on your emotions during some of the cutscenes, by far the best!

I'd say that after 4048 hours (according to Steam) in nearly 3 years, with every class at max level, that I can safely conclude I like this game xD

FF XIV is the only MMORPG that has kept me interested over the years, I've played since 2.2, I usually always quit MMO's after a few months, but over 6 years!? I am really surprised by my own dedication and patience for this game.

I played LOTRO, WOW, SWTOR, Age of Conan, ESO... and lots of other MMORPGs. Lots of good ones but I must admit, FF XIV is definitely my favourite.
Outstanding music, great and emotional story, fun combat, lots of skills, fantastic optimization... It's really a masterpiece.

Just to point out, you said it's on PS3, it's not anymore. It used to be but was removed to make improvements in the game.

I just started playing about 5 weeks ago after playing other mmos for the last 10 years and i'm completely hooked. I no lifed the MSQ and i'm half way through Stormblood atm. SO excited to be a part of this community. Its amazing.

Even if it's not the best, it is one of 'the' best MMO atm. I love FFXIV personally as I've followed the franchise as a kid.
I'm hyped on playing a lot more of the game once I move out to condos!

AS someone who played WoW for 14 years. FFXIV is THE best MMO currently on the Market and unlike WoW just keeps getting better even this far into it's lifespan.
