I don't see why David and Solomon couldn't have been Judean kings. The legendary development of David killing Goliath was most likely inserted into Samuel later. I think the story of David is too detailed to not have happened. As for a united kingdom of Judah and Israel, that probably didn't happen.

This woman is not basing her opinion on solid archeological and historical research. She is basing her opinion on personal bias. Notice how she didn't provide one shred of scholarly research to back her opinions.

It all makes sense when we understand what David and Solomon represent. The reign of David represents the Messianic reign, in which Jesus spoke of a spiritual kingdom or temple, which is why David was not permitted to build a physical house of the Lord. That was done by Solomon in the following reign, representing the reign of pseudo-Christianity that followed the Messianic reign, the physical house of the Lord that Solomon built representing the Church, which was built upon Paul's false doctrine.

Well, you should read the Bible and probably pray to God if you want to be a Bible expert. It states clearly that David, the father of Solomon, wanted to build the temple, but God told him NO! DAVID could not build the temple for the LORD bc David had been a warrior and killed many men. God chose Solomon to build His temple.
