This has not worked yet for me, 10+ tries. Are there any other variables that could be missing? BTW I found nearly 1/2 of the tech answers I have found, have included using the "Home" button, which is not accessible when the phone is turned off...

I've tried this several times. This does not work for my LG G5 (H830 T-Mobile). The phone boots on every time and will NOT show a factory reset screen. I've done just as shown in video several times as well as various different ways and still not Factory Reset Screen. I also can't get it into download mode either.
Any suggestions??

For those of you that couldn't make it work:

U power the phone off..wait 4-5 seconds after it goes off and then you hold the volume down button and power button....as soon as lg screen comes on you let go of the power button ONLY for a sec and push it again while still holding the volume down the entire time..keep it there until the factory page comes on.. It took me a cpl tries.. I'm not sure if I held the volume button down and power at the same time in the first step or hit volume for a a second before the power so u can try both

This way has never worked for me and I'm literally on my 10th time in a row following your video. It's a massive and consistent design flaw that's seems to have been happening since 2 to 3 past LG models before.

i was ok with you untill 0:40 then it doesnt accept my confirmation...i power button for a yes but it crashes and goes back to logo again, never shows the green little android.
