Scientists did NOT bring dire wolves back from extinction

Colossal Biosciences recently claimed to have brought dire wolves back from extinction. They didn't, and in this video we discuss some of the problems with their claim.

I'm 90% sure the reason the direwolf story went so viral on the news is solely because the puppies are adorable. Frankly I will completely overlook the fact that they're not direwolves at all if they keep posting cute pictures of them.
