I think the addition of Jason really steps things up abit.  He is upfront, honest, and isn't really shy about giving his opinions about titles or sim hardware.  I think he fits in very well.

Great review! That Jason Dunnington really simplified things well with his scores and one-word vocabulary. Overall, I like this team/review format. It helped me make the decision (of not getting this game) much easier with the individual scores and discussion points.

Im trying to get into sim racing, and had a question or two. Most games i like, gran turismo and forza are not made for PC platform but the PC is where ive been doing most of my playing recently. is there a way to i can play play station or xbox games thru my pc? I dont own a ps4 or xbox one. Thanks

I think the new update you spin out more crazy like at Auto Club when i raced i barley taped someone and went flying down the back stretch.

If you don't use half number increments, why not do x/10 ratings? When's the last time you saw a game get a rating of x/5?

The reason I play this game on a frequent basis (and yes, I do also have iRacing) is because, unlike iRacing, I can throw the car into the corner 6 inches from the wall and not lose 1.5 seconds a lap. On iRacing there is no outside line AT ALL. I'm more of a guy that loves to run the "Kyle Larson" or "Dale Jr." line way up against the wall. On iRacing, I've had to completely change my driving style because I can't put the car where I want it on the racetrack.

I still have NASCAR Thunder 2003 or 2004 (not sure) and NASCAR '09. Those are the only ones I've really played. I think I'll get NASCAR '15 when it comes out.

How about going back to something like NASCAR Racinf 2003 Season? That was a good NASCAR sim.. can't understand what's happening with these new ones. We have barely any racing simulation games on consoles, everyone going arcadish.. why?

17:30  I beg to differ sirs. Nascar Racing 2003 (NR2003; N2K3) still has a strong online base and many drivers are still using it. Yes, the Sierra servers have been down for a few years but, in the spirit of the old N2K3 lobby, there is a FREE Lobby for P2P racers that gives all the same info and allows you to connect to a server (and download the tracks) just by clicking on the server/track name. I bought NTG:2013 but not 14, didn't want to chance it and from what I read, it was a good move. I also check the STEAM charts for both games (13 and 14) and know for a fact that there's a whole lot more racing NR2003 [online] then both of those combined. I will note, I did break down and get AsCor that you reviewed, that one is coming along pretty good I think. NR2003 may be old, but it is far far from being dead online, I know, I'm on servers nearly every night racing with groups from 10 to 35 (human) drivers.  Nice review btw.

Well I have NTG 2013 and what I have found that the game performance is pretty good when single car hot lapping and almost reminiscent of Nascar Heat. Once you get a full field of cars added it drives like a totally different game with a definite lack of performance and fluidity causing a substandard experience.

Why can't they go hardcore for the PC? Because it takes more resources, money and time, for a game that is meant to be tailored to casual consumers.
