Dr. Sara Vakhshouri is the founder and president of SVB Energy International, a strategic energy consulting firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and Dubai. In this fireside chat with Duke University Energy Initiative director Dr. Brian Murray, Dr. Vakhshouri commented on the evolution of energy security, global energy markets, and the impact of geopolitical risk.

Specific topics included:
-- Why global energy markets are now far more sensitive to demand factors than supply factors;
-- How the dramatic increase of oil production in the U.S. has affected global markets;
-- Her predictions about the future of U.S.-China relations; and
