Elon Musk Just Exposed Why Boeing Starliner FAILED! NASA Give Up...
Imagine what if in a world of managers in software can't write software. The Chief Technology Officer can't code. Executives can’t execute.
Yeah, this is truly Boeing's world today. The giant aerospace's humiliation was plain for the world since they failed to build a spacecraft that could perform the most basic function, safely ferrying astronauts to and from the ISS.
What a shame for a legendary that left its footprint in the dawn of the US aerospace industry.
So, why did it end up so badly?
Elon Musk recently exposed why the Starliner project in particular, and Boeing in general failed.
Find out everything in today's episode of Techmap.

The tension hearing between Boeing's boss and the angry US senators in Washington has paved the way for a dark period for the aerospace giant.

Fully agree a tech company managed by lawyers and MBAs will go down the drain

I was an engineer at boeing for 27 years and it was painfully obvious that Boeing started sliding downhill immediately after McDonnell-Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing's own money. It was a very sad decline.

I once worked for a modern steelmaking company whose original CEO was a competent steelmaker. It was a state of the art mill of it's type in the mid-a908's. Once he retired the Board appointed a sales exec as the CEO. In a few short years with bad decisions that were based on sales that required manufacturing changes that were technically deficient, he drove the company near bankruptcy before finally selling it to another, larger steelmaker. I've seen similar disasters in other industries when bean-counters took over companies and sacrificed long-term goals for short-term quarterly stock dividends.

This is a common problem across most of corporate America. We used to be the Gold Standard for almost every industry. Owning a pair of Levi's was a dream of millions around the world. GM made solid dependable cars and trucks. Now? You can't even get a decent meal at a national chain because the accountants are counting pennies on each meal that strip away the flavor.

Idea, send the Boeing CEO and Chief Financial officer to the ISS aboard Space X and return them in the Boeing capsule, . Let the astronauts return via Space X.

Boeing went to hell when they moved their HQ oit of Seattle... they seperated leadership from the engineers and became all about stock price and government kickbacks..

Elon Musk: "Too many non-technical managers at Boeing" I completely agree.

Boeing is a dangerous company these days. They need new serious corporate leadership that actually cares and can change the lack of skills.

To be fair Boeing has done OK pursuing Woke. The Boeing Board of Directors has two highly compensated black females.. with absolutely zero collage courses or aerospace internship experience with any sort of FAA exposure regarding the construction and operating of Commercial Passenger Jets, including NASA Manned Space Programs, Military Grade Weapon Systems, Top Secret Defense Department Programs, Ballistic Rockets, Bombers, Combat Fighters and their related maintainance engineering or a clue about Logistics. And they are not alone. Most of the Boeing board members are political and don't know squat about computers and software. For all the above you need the talent and experience starting of a Northrop-Grumman or Lockheed.

I worked for a large defense company for 23 years and got out and what Musk is saying is true and I left because of it and work in a small company now. The problem can be simply put as the Dilbert Principle followed by the Peter Principle.

Put Elon Musk as the CEO of Boeing, and you will see significant differences.

Boeing needs a complete house cleaning. With CEO first to be fired. The CEO is grossly overpaid as well. $750, 000.00 no more than that. Plus, the CEO needs to be an aerospace engineer as a minimum requirement for the job.

DEI is on full display at Boeing. Hiring for competence is replaced by hiring for social quotas.

Quality control= good inspectors without fear of reprisal from the immediate super visors-absolutely airlines must adhere to this

Boeing needs to dump that 32 million dollar/yr CEO and clear the decks for more capable employees.

If Boeing succeeds, the CEO gets paid handsomely, and if Boeing fails, the CEO still gets paid handsomely.

This raises disturbing questions about the quality control on Boeing's military equipment.

My son who has a degree in computer science left IBM because his boss and other top brass were non technical paper pushers. They made his work so much harder. He left.
