HD2 Increase Your FPS! - Optimized Settings Guide Follow-Up

After updating my GPU graphics drivers, I was setting up to stream Helldivers 2 when I noticed a huge performance increase compared to the night before. This prompted me to literally drop what I was doing and start writing a script for this quick follow-up to my Settings Guide video.

Arrowhead seriously need to bump up performance on their priority list. It’s wild that the highest end pcs on the market struggle to achieve 100 fps and absolutely melt their cpu’s in the process..

i randomly checked mods for this game and found a couple that were for performance. the one i went with doesn't change any files, but replaced your settings file.(in have settings have limits and don't give you access to every aspect that can cause performance issues) you can tweek everything in it and it lets you get a major performance increase. i wouldn't recommend it to higher end pcs but for the friend in the video who was running slower would really appreciate something like this

The problem I have is that running solo I get about 80-70fps but when I run some games online my frames drop by 30, barely staying at 60 with low settings and I have an amd rx 6700s with a amd Ryzen 9 6900HS cpu and 16gb of 4800mhz ram. By no means is this a low end system

I’ve got a 4090 and I cap out my monitors refresh rate when solo, but as soon as a teammate drops in, my frames drop by about 30 and stay consistent there.

What about dx11 vs dx12?
I use (--use-d3d11) launch option in steam game properties and the game feels much smoother, also fps drops don't feel as bad as on dx12
Does anyone else use it?
What are your thoughts on this?

Nvidia latest drivers update ducked my fps, i reverted they were better than before

Also, check that your gpu hasn't been set to "max power" mode in the global settings by default rather than max performance xD

I recommend to turn motion blur on 50 or 100%. The realisation of motion blur in this game is wonderful. I usually giving games a chance to look at motion blur implementation and not many games have this effect so good.

Begging you - give it a try. Especially if you playing with 70+ fps. Believe me, you won't even notice it during gameplay.
Motion blur makes you feel motion of object better. Like in real life.

Lacking any sort of graphics settings other than AA and 1080p vs 1440p only in the PS5 is definitely frustrating. I had to turn off HDR entirely in PS5 so that colors don't look so off and highlights become gray while blacks clip too much.

I hope Arrowhead addresses performance issues on the PS5, because I feel like PC just looks 100% better in every way (texture, shader, AA and resolution).

1440p is just unplayable since it only renders 15 fps (I do not have VRR monitor)

intel I7 + Nvidia RTX 3050 6GB + 8GB ram
and this game runs on lowest setting, quality resolution at most 25fps...
I know my pc isn't a beast, but 60fps should be a minimum for my set up.
I can run GTA 5, Battlefield one, 4K shaders minecraft & VR games like alyx at max settings at 90+ fps and I can't run this game at 30fps?
I think its reasonable to think its the game fault this time.

I had my display setting to native and it worked fine now i must use balanced wth? Did they change something?
