She's pretty calm and nonchalant for being in 555k of debt. This is a prime of example of why you should never watch what people have. These are professionals making good money but living way above their means. It's never about how much money you make, it's how much you save and invest.

Definitely more to the story than she is saying. There is no way you just accidentally go into half a million dollars in debt. Probably an alcohol, drug, or gambling problem somewhere.
