i understand that not everyone is gonna dig the design but i don't think that means that they "cant come back". if you dont like the design that perfectly fine, but that doesn't mean that they are going to fail or not succeed because you saying that the design is ugly isnt a fact, its just an opinion.

Welcome back Nokia! I might just pre-order the 8 when it becomes possible. Being Finnish myself and all, it's reasonable. As I'm not buying into the stupid "bezelless" and idiotic aspect ratio hype of 2017, the Nokia 8 looks like a very great all-rounder, although the competition with Honor 9 and OnePlus 5 is rough. And oh, the Xiaomi's and other phones of the world that are similarly priced/specced/what have you, don't bother with that. None of those are easily available (at least not in Finland) and the extra cost of import with the lack of customer service makes them redundant. I've been laughing at Nokia since 2005, which is when they're business started turning to complete crap, and think they got all they deserved when the business crumpled and was sold to Microsoft. Alas, I'm hoping for a successful comeback, and will buy the Nokia 8, if I'll have the money. HMD should hire me as a consultant, just sayin.. Great job on the first Nokia 8 video!

Nokia is absolutely a great brand..but i think they should re innovate their old symbian os skin on the new nokia smartphones running android ofcourse the stock rom gives the best user experience but nokia can give a memorial comeback if they can tweak back to wining ways and also try imrpove the design such as c7 versions or e8
