Kabuki Klash (alt) [Arcade] - play as Lucifeller

Показать описание
This is a playthrough using Lucifeller in the Arcade version of Far East of Eden: Kabuki Klash. Read on below for more information...
Lucifeller is the final boss in the game. In all original NeoGeo versions of the game (MVS/AES/CD), he is an unplayable character.
===== ABOUT LUCIFELLER =====
He is basically the "second form" of the previous boss Jyashinsai in story terms, but in the game's code he is technically a separate character. Lucifeller fights using sorcery and other forbidden techniques.
A typical giant demon/gargoyle type design, he is rather limited in moves. This is to be expected as he is a non-selectable boss character. Here is the information on him, as follows:
---- He cannot crouch, and he does not have any crouching Normals.
---- He does not have any Strong attacks. His "Strong Punch" makes him disappear for a split second; and his "Strong Kick" uses his existing Medium Kick.
---- His high and low blocking uses the same animation/sprite, and both can block high and low attacks.
---- He can jump, but he is clearly not meant to, as it uses his neutral stance animations when he is jumping.
---- While jumping, he does not have any air Normals, instead he just disappears when an attack button is pressed. He reappears after he lands.
---- When fighting against some of the other bosses (Karakuri and Jyashinsai), his throws causes the boss opponents to disappear. They do not return and cannot be hit back in, so you need to reset the game or have Player 2 join in. You can see this around 12:37 and 14:06 in the video.
---- He has no super move.
---- He does not have a proper animation for when he Dashes forward.
---- He does not have a proper animation for Dashing back.
---- He does not have a proper animation for crawling forward, instead he just "slides" forward.
---- He does not have any Dash attacks. He just disappears for a split second when it is attempted.
---- He is not affected by the Banana Peal, Tiny Statue and Purple Bottle items.
---- When he gets defeated, he goes through the "losing transition" where he turns into a skeleton, even if he is not acting as the final boss.
---- In a mirror match, when one of them gets defeated and turns into a racoon, the game does not progress.
---- If you manage to beat the game with him, he uses Kinu's ending.
---- In the original version of the game, he only has one colour palette.
===== OTHER INFORMATION =====
---- He is non-selectable even in the Neo-Geo CD version of the game. This is understandable because SNK would have to produce loads of new animation frames/sprites for him.
===== ABOUT KABUKI KLASH =====
From the SNK Wikia, with slight changes:
"Far East of Eden: Kabuki Klash is a fighting game for the Tengai Makyo series. The game was developed by Hudson Soft and released by SNK. It was released on July 28, 1995 for the Neo Geo and December 8, 1995 for the Neo Geo CD.
The main series is composed of three separate games within the land of 'Jipang' (a fictionalized version of feudal Japan), each follows a descendant of the 'Fire Clan' and supporting cast in battles against a range of often comical villains."
