IT'S AMAZING TO SEE BRAZIL SHOWING ALL THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF THEIR COUNTRY! Black, White and Mix Brazilians! :D
Usually all you see is white!

@Stickrazyinsane It's a traditional Bolivian song, 'llorando se fue - kjarkas' look it up. That original was borrowed by Koama to make 'Lambada', which is Brazilian.

"Lambada" was names by Kaoma (french group) "Chorando se foi" (lyrics translated to Portuguese). are an unauthorized translation of the song "Llorando se fue" by los Kjarkas- Gonzalo and Ulises Hermosa. In 1984 an upbeat version of the song introducing the accordion was released by the Peruvian group Cuarteto Continental, whose arrangements (produced by Alberto Maravi) were later copied by Kaoma.

The video was shot in Curaçao. The teens in the video are Curaçaon or locals of the island. They come from various unique mixed racial backgrounds and a few of the female dancers are Brazilian. The blonde girl with freckles and blue eyes is actually my friend, she's from Amsterdam and I told her to do the video. I was with casting for this video :)

@Stickrazyinsane I love how you think you are right, "Lambada" is a brazilian dance and has nothing to do with Spanish music. Meanwhile, the original "Lambada" song was sampled from "Llorando se Fue" originally a song by a Bulgarian group. Some people need to get their facts straight before pretending to know they know what they are talking about.

@jlosbabyboy That's because it wasn't filmed in Brazil, it was filmed in Curaçao!!

@noxmusiq Well. In an unreasonably optimistic tone, she has helped more people recognize and appreciate this classic tune.

@Stickrazyinsane what do you mean unknown author? it was made by a Bolivian band called los Kjarkas then copied by Kaoma and then on an on...but what I have red is that Jennifer Lopez brought the rights for the cover., , any doubts check wikipedia all the story is there.

@friduchakahlo
i like your comment cuz i think just the same as you. i also want to go back to the 80's cuz they dancing on the streets...not like today.and in the 80's they had respect and everything was great, today it sucks.
i hope that the life and oter things will come back as before, in the 80's and 90's!
