Should you buy the Anbernic RG552?

Working on this was a huge pain in my ass, but damn do those retro games look great on this handheld. Looking forward to my friends reaction to this video and being able to hand it back to him to enjoy childhood nostalgia!

It's one of my favorite handhelds! The quality is superior and it has nice hefty size to it. The screen is gorgeous, controls are fantastic. I put Batocera on mine. Everything works great on it that I've tried and every system has its aspect ratios set up automatically thanks to Batocera.

I bought the RG552 almost a year ago and it’s a great handheld. The screen is brilliant. Currently running the latest version of AmberElec and every game starts, work and runs very well with very minor tweaks.

So what handheld are you referring to when you said there's a better recommendation for about $100 more? I'm trying to stay in the $200-300 range for a handheld, full on console prices for a handheld are off-putting.

I am surprised this system does not perform that well considering it has so much ram and a dedicated GPU.

Would have loved to see more of the linux side of things as that is something which most systems of this type cannot do.

You should have put the other handheld's that are cheaper that do better. A little list would have been nice.
