The Maze 1968 Armageddon

Показать описание
Originally from San Francisco, The Maze was a band that had nothing to do with Psychedelic Rock. When they were formed in 1967, their name was Stonehenge and they were making Folk Rock. One can't help but wonder how they managed to get away from the ordinary Folk Rock approach, which has no special features, and recorded such a magnificent album within a year.
Naturally, we do not have much information about the band, which remained with only one album. Although the fact that they have made one of the best Acid Rock albums ever with a team of 4 piques our curiosity about them, there is nothing we can do except add them to our list of legends with a single album and enjoy them.
Do not think that the band comes from Folk roots. Even though they were in the Folk Rock line at one point or even just before, they move into a completely different medium in the album they recorded after taking the name The Maze. The album is full of Psychedelic elements and Acid head from start to finish. It's a dark album, and a much darker one. Even the name of the album can be considered a more hopeful name than its content.
