Don, I needed this today. Our Daily Bread devotional I needed today. God always know what I need each day. I don't know if you read these, but I pray you read this one. Your ministry is very important to me. I have been chronically ill with Lupus the bad kind for over 38 years. It has not been easy! My marriage ended and I had 2 young boys to raise. My parents were wonderful Christ filled people and helped me so much. I was Christian, and am, too. I am a RN and was disabled when I was 37. So hard, but my GI Tract was attacked and died. I suffer everyday with more and ore organ failure. My MDs' don't know how i am alive--it is God, I tell them. None are Christians. The last 4+ years I have been home bound . Both my sons' have gone away from the truth of God in which they were raised. I live with my oldest son and family. 3 wonderful grandchildren!! God has been so faithful!! He has never let a need go unmet!! Yet recently I have been struggling with whether I really am saved or not--I feel it is partly grieving due to more medical problems and my past -when I was not closely following the Lord. i know i am forgiven, but these feelings still come.I also feel that I am cognitively slipping. I am so in need of Christian fellowship. Yes I have several friends from my church that I keep in contact with everyday, but it is just not the same as being in church. I love this song!!! I thank you for giving up your job and going into this ministry!!!! God led you and you followed. Please pray for me--I need healing in some way for fears and doubts that i never have really dealt withhon this level before and I need Christian fellowship so badly that I can't even tell you with words. I moved from Arkansas where my parents were to California, just out of LA--my parents went home in 2014 the year I moved to Ca. so I was in Arkansas most of that year--Mom on Memorial Day weekend--we talked for 2 hours she went in her sleep peacefully. Dad lasted just over 4 months-he was not ill and still active in church just as mom was--she was 90 and he was 94. I was with dad -as that September was their 74th anniversary. I was holding his hand when he went home. I came back to my son's home and was not allowed to even grieve. My parents were everything to him and his brother. My parents helped raise both my boys, but my oldest doesn't deal with feelings well. it has been very hard. I am up early every morning to have several hours with the Lord before anyone gets up. Grace to You.

I came across this song yesterday as part of a album, and when i heard it, it broke me 😢 my beloved husband has cancer in his bones, and we truly have no where else to turn, medical science has not helped, nor treatments. We have trusted in The LORD Yeshua throughout the last 7 year's of this illness. But now we truly need a Miracle from Yeshua/Jesus. He is absolutely our only Hope. So as i hear this song, i say amen and amen. And for all God's children that are going through suffering, I pray Jesus Name. 🙏 ❤

The song "In Jesus Name" came out of Katy’s journal entries after she was diagnosed with scoliosis.

When she came out of the second surgery on her spine, Katy thanked God for healing her physically and mentally. Her spine was healed and the cloud of depression was gone. She truly encountered the Lord in that moment.

Through that experience, the Lord had given her this song. But without being signed to a record label there was no hope for radio play or sharing her message, so she just put a video of her singing “In Jesus Name” on the popular social media.
