I think the main things that matter here is that.. he gets to have time with his family.. I also hope that WWE keeps paying him the same amount of money... I hope he is actually happy despite the injury.. and I think that WWE needs to respect his legacy and that he can another couple tag team tittles and also have a run as the IC champ and give him one more universal tittle run. But keep his injuries in mind.

In my alternate storyline I wanted him and Bronson to have a Steel cage match at bad blood. From all the chaos happening around the arena, a steel cage was decided to settle their differences without anyone else getting hurt.

At BB they literally tear down cage. Half of the cage on the entrance side. They could’ve escaped but they decided to continue fighting in the ring. The other side of the cage by the commentators had been broken down and it ends in no contest because both of them suplex each other off the fallen cage onto the announcer table.

However it doesn’t end there. Bronson pulls out a table from up under the ring, puts Braun it and climbs to the top of the cage and hits the biggest tsunami ever to the outside of the ring onto Braun through the table

There is a highlighted spot during the match where Bronson hits a tsunami off the top of the cage. Braun also returns the favor by hitting his own splash off the top of the cage as well. The steel cage was meant to end their feud but obviously this was far from over.

After BB, there’s an announcement that Braun and Bronson will have their final match at Survivor Series ending in an I Quit match. This is it, you’re literally saying you quit so there’s no coming back from that
