Here in 2020!!! Still shooting with D700 and D750. Colors on the D700 are to this day unsurpassed, even by the newest Z cameras.

I've had it for about a year. It use to work fine with the AA batteries but now it loose connectivity and fails over to the internal battery. I have to remove the AA battery pack and reset it. It will take a couple of shots at 8FPS and then it goes offline again.

i noticed at the end as i was looking forward to hearing the higher speed, that you had the shutter speed too slow for a fast fps, should have knocked it onto manual and set the shutter speed to int he high 100s to heart the full effect

just bought a genuine second hand model, be nice to one day get a EN EL4 and hear what my D300s can do with it (8fps)

Also see the YouTube video link below about another counterfeit product from China. I bought one and it had the same serial number as the one in the video. Also the battery chamber latch snapped off almost immediately I bought it. I took it into Nikon's Head Office yesterday for them to examine it and left it there as I did not want it back in case it damaged the electronics of the Nikon D300S. I paid over £70 for mine and what a waste of money. Buying cheap usually costs more money in the end. See;  nikon MB-D10 Chinese fake and genuine product 開封本物と比較する

Good post but now great Nikon MBD10 is so cheap there seems no point in the meike.
