YIKES... 40 DOLLARS?! And looking at the gameplay it looks rly lackluster for the price point. Another great review will and I can't even keep track with how fast your sub count is growing!!

Hey there !!! I'm sure the reason for the high price point is because of the cost of the license itself for the IP, so the developers had to pass some of that cost on to the consumers. Although I didn't know much about the anime prior to playing the game, I still enjoyed the characters (some more than others), but the game itself is pretty average. I had fun with it, but $40 USD is gonna be a tough sell for most people.
