I'd rather use natural remedies, eat well and exercise and trust God. Lost confidence in medical science after the plandemic. Your average doctor spends only 2 hours studying nutrition and it's relation to sickness in the entire 4 years they spend in med school. Let that sink in.

The Insurance companies can still have paid doctors in their pockets as well. I injured myself at work and because I refused to go back in which was a hospital they told me i had to see an IME Independent Medical Examiner. I saw him and less than 15 minutes he cleared me to go back to work upon just doing a reflex test. I told him my pain starts after 45 minutes of activity he didn't care. My employer expected me to return and i had to get an lawyer. Im still in pain as of Jan 4. 2025 and my injury happened in June. Shame on those doctors who are paid to say whatever the company paying them want to say.

Just FYI, some food for thought when selecting your ideal future system, or at least the framework of the system. Here in Canada we still have the equivalent to claim denial when it comes to disability support or workplace insurance claims. Usually if you go to the hospital though you will get care without any bills. We still have issue with prices on pharmaceuticals and just about any time private insurance is involved we have all the same problems. Our workplace insurance system is actually outsourced to a private company. Weirdly our census data tabulation is outsourced to Lockheed Martin. Figure that one out.

Correction: The health insurance companies DO determine if you get treatment. Your doctor's office submits a claim which is reviewed by a doctor employed by the healthcare company who approves/denies the claim request. This is a huge conflict of interest

I have never had a submitted claim that was NOT denied. I stopped buying insurance in 2022 and have saved a quarter of a million in just payments.

When I am sick or need a surgery, I pay cash. Three surgeries and thirteen years later my cost for all care is under 25k. You tell me if insurance is a scam…

Not sure why the process has to be so complicated. Even a poor country like Philippines has lot better Health insurance policy. We pay 20-25$/ month and can get approved for any procedures required up to 2500$/ per sickness. Which is a lot of money in Philippines perspective.
