NO, noooo, absolutely no! No need for wireless charging. That will take up precious internal space from the watch for no real benefit. Plugging in the cable is just as easy as using a wireless charger, and can potentially charger faster!

Thanks for the great video! I really like the pace of your videos, the integration of your speaking with clips of the device itself, and the music. I just bought a Garmin 265S and I love it. I got it specifically for longer battery life relative to my Apple Watch, and for use on longer backpacking trips, but now that I have it, I am motivated to increase my fitness and use it more. I really disliked the tactical look of the MIP Garmin watches (big, clunky, all black, very masculine looking). I really like this AMOLED display and the smaller format. The price was decent too. As a smart watch, it's not nearly as smooth as the AW, but as a fitness device, it is superior to the AW.

Great review. I have been wearing my 265s for a few days now and so far so good. I had the old 235 so a significant upgrade. I like the touchscreen feature. I am not sure having the notifications on for texts and calls are neccessary since I still can't respond and I always have my iPhone with me.

What about the bluetooth connectivity? Va5 was terible. I mean even there was a one wall between phone and watch connection was lost. Things are different for 265?

Thank you, my Garmin Forerunner 955 went back due to mushy keys and so did the replacement for the same reason, Garmin doesn't want to fix it for some reasons

Must admit I was happy with the polymer body, it was a consideration for me as I work in the electrical industry ? I do avoid conductive materials, but yeah fair comment at this price point.

Everything I am reading about this watch is great, but for $450 they should've had stainless steel, heck titanium. It just feels cheap, especially when the Vivoactive has stainless steel.
