😆 Wildes is a national treasure. The KC belt is hilarious 😂

Nick actually made the case why Purdy is Niners most valuable player. I think almost every Niner fan would rather any other player be out for the playoffs then Purdy.

I’d much rather roll without McCaffrey than Purdy. Mitchell and Mason are solid running backs that just get overshadowed by Christian. I have little confidence that Darnold can perform well, especially after getting a glimpse when Purdy went out briefly with the stinger

Nick picked the 9ers last year to come outta the NFC because they drafted Trey Lance, and unproven rookie that barely played competitive college ball. This year he’s picking against the 9ers because they’re starting a second year player who won them two playoff games and is currently leading the league in every QB stay there is. So much for Mr. Consistency

if brock purdy was drafted third overall nobody would be doubting the fact that brock purdy is an mvp candidate. that’s the only argument you can make because he is having a historically great season

I'd roll with Purdy w/o CMC over CMC w/o Brock. It's not even remotely a difficult decision that Nick is hilariously wrong about.

It’s weird seeing Nick try to indict both Purdy and Matt Ryan for being coached by Shanahan, but he also continually insists that Reid is the greatest offensive coach EVER and that Mahomes is by far the greatest quarterback EVER.

I think every single 49ers fan's thoughts in this most recent game where Brock appeared to be injured were "our season is over". I, and I imagine 90% or more of 49ers fans, would much rather see a CMC injury than a Purdy injury. I trust our backup QB much less than I trust our backup runner (who is actually, also very good).

Love CMC but Brock is much more important to the team and we'd see that if Darnold had to be our starter. Also, CMC looked pretty unimpressive those few games without pro bowl left tackle Trent Williams so are we then going to recommend that Trent Williams should win MVP?

Maybe so, but he wouldn't be MVP without someone to block for so maybe the person he's blocking for should be MVP (Purdy, CMC). See the problem with this logic? It can go around all day and what we'll ultimately decide is that good players don't look as good without the support of other good players.

Don’t speak for 49ers fans, speak for yourself Nick !

Yea Nick don’t try to talk for Niners fans we love both cmc and purdy but for some crazy scenario we’re rocking with Brock you didn’t sit thru 5 years of Jimmy and his countless heart attacks he gave this fan base it’s been clear to us from the start how good purdy is

10:35 Matt Ryan has a better career resume than Cam Newton, Shaun Alexander, and Steve McNair (MVPs in the last 20 years). He had a historically efficient year on a historically dominant offense, and even without Shanahan he made 4 other pro bowls, was a top 5 QB in multiple other seasons, and was top 10 almost every year during the 2010s. He might even make the HOF. Stop the disrespect. He and Purdy played on great offenses, but they also produced/producing HISTORIC results with those offenses, they’re getting everything out of them and that makes them deserving MVPs.

It's literally week 15 in the NFL season, Brock Purdy is first or second in every QB metric, his team has the best record and has beaten the most big teams of any team all season the most convincingly. And somehow, someway, sports broadcasters continue to put qualifiers. It's like whoa, QBs can't have good receivers and a good system because then it means they are being lifted by the team... unless it's Tom Brady with the greatest head coach of all time and in his unanimous and almost undefeated season had one of the greatest WR of all time or Patrick Mahomes with arguably the second greatest head coach of all time, the greatest TE of all time and for his first chip, the league's current best WR. But since it's Shanahan, it means the QB has nothing to do with the success of the system

Brou is killing it with this take. He's 100% spot on. When Purdy got injured in the playoffs, what happened to the Niners, even though CMC was still playing? CMC has been amazing. But if Purdy isn't there, Niners aren't going anywhere.

Sorry Nick, I am a diehard Niners fan and I would roll with Purdy. I saw what happened without Purdy in nfc championship game. I saw Darnold for two plays almost throw two pics against Cardinals.

I’m tired of hearing this 3 losses BS being held against Brock. If that’s why he can’t be MVP then why is it not held against cmc too? He put up 45, 45, and 56 yards in all 3 losses and that last game Brock led the niners in rushing. So by no stretch of the imagination was cmc putting up high caliber numbers and this terrible take just goes to tell the audience that these analysts pushing this narrative do not watch tape at all or are being disingenuous. Seems like yall are holding the more valuable player to a higher standard.

Nick said in his podcast today that he wants Purdy to fail in the playoffs and this literally would make him feel satisfied. It was obvious anyway, but the fact that he admitted it. Nick is a joke)

Nick keeps saying that it’s not an insult to Purdy to say that he’s not the MVP. However, the *only* argument for Purdy to not be the MVP is if we redefine the award to be something it hasn’t been in decades, if ever. We can argue about what “most valuable” means, but at the end of the day this award has a precedent, and the reality is that ANY QB in ANY year with Purdy’s numbers and record would win MVP. The only argument to say Purdy isn’t MVP requires us to abandon the precedent of the award, which appears to be an argument made as an insult to Purdy. Who is the best player in the NFL? CMC, Tyreek, or Trent Williams are all better players than Purdy. Who should win this award? Based on all historical precedent of who has won the award in the past, without question Purdy at this point.

Im a niners fan and if i had the choice between brock and cmc being out... im sorry but i would rather have brock. Its the most valuable position and we still have solid back up RBs. Of course i want all my guys to be healthy but if I had a choice i'd choose Purdy for nicks hypothetical. That said CMC should be the MVP but if it has to be a QB the answer has to be Brock

Nick calling Wildes a clown, especially for this take is CRAZY 🤣

If Nick isn't gonna penalize Mahomes for having Tyreek and Kelce, he literally can't Purdy for having CMC and Deebo.
