0:15 - 0:37, This does make me genuinely feel bad for The Mimic. Given he’s an old endo, that’s driven by his programming, and agony, it’s not his fault he’s the way that he is.

He’s not evil, he’s just an AI that’s programmed to Mimic what he sees, and given the abuse he was given by Edwin, he’s just copying what he whitnessed, while also being angry at his master for hurting him.

The book does show us that The Mimic can think for himself, despite being programmed to mimic what he sees.

Overall, the mimic is a tragic character, and given this is the villain that we’re expected to see in the future, I’m intrigued to see where this character will go next.

Edit: Yes, he is a mindless animatronic that has no remorse for what he’s done, but he’s an AI following his programming, regardless to if it’s good or bad.

0:16-0:38 These parts of the lyrics are extremely clean and gives Mimic so much aura that it makes me feel genuinely feel bad for him despite everything he has done.

He's pretty much a scared AI child who's in pain following his programming of what he's told do to of what he sees and doesn't know right to wrong. It wasn't entirely his fault of why he's the way that he is.

He felt hurt after Edwin beaten him with a metal pipe, given his agony/grief/anger, and he only learned violence. But despite that, the Tales epilogues and his backstory shows he's fully sentimental and is aware of what he's doing and the fact the Tiger Rock story and the arm curves he always does can still glimpse of him remembering David due to the fact David's love and joy brought him to life hinted in his backstory.

But now, he believes that being egotistical, vicious, manipulative, and self-serving is totally okay. Ruin, Tiger Rock, and the epilogues all seem to indicate as much, at least. He is beginning to accept evil because he believes it to be good.

Andrea's voice in the intro reminds me of lilies! And I love how the lyrics introduce the Mimic as a tragic character, but then show him as more of a villain. And the melody of the chorus was really fire 🔥. Coda's animation was also amazing 🤩.
