One thing this version did better than any other imo is how mowgli looks. He's dirty, he's scrawny, his hair is long and messed up, he jas scratches all over him. He looks like a kid who's been raised in the jungle

As far as live action adaptations go, this looks like one of, if not the best version of Jungle Book. I have not seen it yet, but I am tempted.

As far as animated versions go, the best one is the Adventures of Mowgli from the USSR. This one is arguably the most faithful to the stories.

The movie had a feel of inspiration, artistic, a well demonstration of movie producer use of mixed human and animation graphics on screen. Was fantastic. These makers of this movie deserve a king Size Chocolate Snicker.
