Honda Rebel 1100 | Stock vs. Vance & Hines

So I've splurged on a new Vance & Hines slip-on. Money well spent. This is what the Rebel really needed, - a mouthwatering exhaust note.

Filmed on an iPhone, and I notice it adjusts its sound level rather drastically, to the point where V&H appears to be quieter. Make no mistake, - it is way louder than the stock pipe.

That pipe is so damn huge. My brother has an old 250cc rebel which has an even larger exhaust but we removed it for better sound and yes there are no new exhaust replacements in our country. Anyways nice bike man :) .

wow that is definitely different sound note but I am not entirely sure which I like more. The stock actually sounds more like a cruiser whereas the VH sounded like a naked bike. Well done!

Does sound pretty cool. I'd be curious though if a full stage one upgrade might be necessary in the future so you don't gunk up your valves. What they recommend on Harley's and most other bikes to be done at some point -or at least a tune to compensate for the extra flow. My Road King ate $4000 for a high flow intake, injectors, and tune chip needed to run properly on the Rhineharts I put on. Made a hell of a difference though in sound and power -was also money well spent. But yeah -😅a shitload of money....

I don't like the curve of the VH exhaust
It would be better to be more horizontal
Does the water gather inside it after rain ?

The Vance sounds quieter because your iPhone is protecting itself from the loud noises so it reduces the sound recorded a little

Don't like the look of the stock pipe but the v&h looks a bit goofy to me as well the way it goes up and sticks out at an angle. Also you blurred your licence plate in the video but the thumbnail shows it 😆
