@Stephen G I'm pretty sure all of the editions of ET on bluray are the original version because I bought the bluray on Amazon and saw it and it is the original version.

E.T. is my all time favorite movie as a kid. I was obsessed. Figurines, trading cards, shirts, you name it. I also loved Return of the Jedi and The Goonies. I bought both the digi and steelbook for this release. Couldn't resist not having both.

You can still pick it up on Best Buy's site, it's $29.99 now instead of $24.99 but still, it's better than trying to snag it from Ebay for inflanted prices.

I saw E.T. in theater when it was released, I liked it. One of my favorite child hood films is The Dark Crystal.

same here bro. E.T. is my all-time favorite movie period as well. No movie beats E.T. E.T. is iconic and just a flat-out masterpiece. Speilberg is literally THE MAN with all the movies he's done. In fact, I also have to admit that when I was a kid, E.T. actually scared the bejesus out of me but as I grew up I continued to constantly re-watch the movie and confront my fear which ultimately became my favorite all-time movie. I wish I had as much E.T. stuff or even more than Nicholas Gjoka.
