S02E01 - Arduino as Serial TTL, Logic Analyzer to find baud rate

Показать описание
In season 2 we embark on experiments in UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter).

Plot:
After setting up Arduino Nano as a simple serial transmitter, we use Arduino Uno as Serial TTL to USB device.
Along the way we learn how to use a cheap logic analyser to decode UART signals and approximate the baud rate in use, as well as learning a new word for notification :-)

1:23 Nano is programmed
6:55 Setup logic analyser
9:31 Sigrok Pulseview UART decoder
11:56 Calculate baud rate using Sigrok
15:24 Open Putty

Aurdino link: clone that I use.

Another link for nano clones for projects, very handy:

Next episode teaser:
Using our new found UART skills, we attempt to connect to an old Netgear router using our arduino serial TTL and Putty.
