Meat Sweats & Rakia at Balkan House Restaurant in South Burnaby

Hello! Welcome back to EAT SOON

This weekend I checked out Balkan House Restaurant with my friend Nikolai. A favorite with the local Eastern European, this restaurant is serving up some of the best Southeastern Mediterranean cooking in the Vancouver lower mainland. Known for their MASSIVE portions, popular items include fresh sausage and a variety of grilled meats and kebabs.

What we ordered:
- Rakia (alcoholic drink)
- The Balkan Platter (6 assorted house specialty meats: meat patties, sausage, bacon, shish kebab, smoked pork neck & cevapcici)
- Chicken Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce
