I had my time as a kid. It was enjoyable, mixed with some pain, but uniquely memorable. However, I'm 57 years old, and I'm good right here, right now. This's the only place I can be, here and now, so I might as well enjoy it, and so I do.

It's good to be the age I am...now. Nostalgia is a pleasant fiction to visit for a short time, but I prefer the present. Always the present.

This one hits me particulary hard, when I was little, I lived in the countryside, in a very small village quite remote, I lived next to an outdoor stad with fields as far as the eye can see, there was also a fott field and a small basketball court, we often go there with my local friends, my best friends so far, we're still even today, but life keeps going, and our paths are separated, now we are completely exploded on the map, I hope that we can all find ourselves one day, as in the good old times.
We're all alone but we all think about each other, I wish you the best my brothers and sisters.

When I was a kid I used to be real close with my 3 cousins. I grew up as an only child, and I’d always spend time with them. They were the closest things to sisters for me. I used to go to their apartment every day after school until our parents came home from work (around 7 pm). From 3 to 7 pm, we would play around. Legos, Xbox, Play Pretend, etc. These made for core memories I always reminisce of. Now that we are older, I can’t help but wonder when things changed? When did we decide to stop doing the things we used to do as kids? When did we last spend Christmas together? When did we last share birthdays together? When did we decide to grow up? Those moments we ran around laughing our heads off relentlessly as kids became so significant to me. Now that we are older, we don’t talk very much. We don’t see each other like we used to. I’ve grown distant from them. It’s like we are nothing alike, anymore. I’ve just come to accept things will never be the same as they once were before.

I live my life day-by-day, chasing moments like those. Not that I want to go back to being a kid, but certain moments I come back to. A time so elegant, that thinking about it brings me comfort. Looking through photo galleries from a past vacation, watching camcorder clips of you as a kid. You don’t see how special your life is until you’ve lived it. Embrace every moment, take as many photos/ videos as you can. Tell your loved ones how much you love them, enjoy every moment you go through, for you never know when you will see/ feel them for the last time…

I was born in 91. & I really miss being a kid.. i am now 32 and just had my first kid last year. When I see him I'm like man I miss my childhood especially when I took him to the park

I' m gonna confess here (I hope no one reads this). So, I am lonely its not like I dont got friends but still there is this feeling. I'm an introvert and im super shy of girls and i know that no girl would ever show interest in me. Till now all of this didnt bother me but its really starting to get to me now. But don't be sad out in the world there is somewon that loves and cares about you. Stop thinking about the people that broked youre hart.
