Hey there skeptics, haters of Scrum and waterboarders, oops, waterfallers! Yes, its not Kanban and definitely not PMBOK (lol). 2 different animals for 2 different endeavors/product/project types. No one ever said it was everything. And yes, Scrum has its limitations and restrictions but it has a HUGE place in my list of favorite Agile frameworks! Get over it already Scrum haters!
On the other extreme, there are the "Scrum purists". Let's not even go there today! Gees! Instead, in this video, I address Scrum purposely for my PMP students. I know it sounds abominable to some to hear PMP combined with Scrum. Get over it! PMI is in reform. LOL.

Scrum defines the team by three core roles: product owner, development team, and scrum
master. Development is broken down into time boxed iterations called sprints, where teams
commit to complete specific requirements. During a sprint, teams meet for daily stand up
meetings. At the end of the sprint, teams demonstrate the completed work to the product
owner for acceptance. A retrospective meeting is held after the sprint to discuss any changes
to the process.
