The Amarena cherries seem to be the very single great product of Fabbri. The syrups are pretty poor, even compared to other industrial competitors. 

And it seems to be the wrong approach, to try to convince people, that it can be used everywhere. It is an amazing cocktail cherry [I would though not muddle it - the syrup around the cherries can be used], it is perfect for desserts and ice creams. And obviously everything, which works with sweetness: foie gras, duck breast...
