Just a note: This video series was filmed last year—pre-coronavirus, so I'm grateful we have some more of these Field Trips to run during a time when many are not traveling.

That Polyscias mauritiana at 25:27 is dramatic. The changes is very evident. I like it.

Love the interview with Chad. It might be good idea to produce a video for us to have a more in-depth understanding on the differences between botany and horticulture! :)

Another beautiful video illuminating the deeper science and questions of our beloved plants! I just started your Masterclass a few days ago and, right off the bat, one of the first lessons is about providing some of that important understanding of taxonomy. It was incredibly informative to get to know that there was actually a difference between the terms "forma" and "variety." I never knew! One of the remarkable takeaways from this video, for me, was the difference in viewing taxonomy based on the perspective of botanist and horticulturists. I am always trying to do "good" research on the plants that I buy and I find identification sometimes to be confusing and now I have a bit more insight and how perspective can make a difference. Thanks again, Summer!

Love those tours and love to see how growers manage to grow them outside their natural habitat. I will be glad to see how growers in Mediterranean countries grow these plants.
