Also Apple: but we change the cable and put a USB-c (instead of USB-a) to Lightning so screw your previous chargers.

I find it so funny that people keep saying that it’s a new design, the flat edges and no more curved screen. This is literally a description of iphone 5. They just figured the shape and screen of x series was not convenient and so they switched it back.

The answer is No if you have any version of the iPhone 11 guys. The 11 is still a great phone and apple devices last a long time. Maybe the 13, but a big NO for the 12. Any other iPhone, then you can have a discussion about.

Don’t fall into the trap of upgrading phones every year. The iPhone 13 will be the biggest change as MagSafe confirms Apple will be going fully wireless and I can see the port being removed next year
Don’t fall into the nonsense of reducing their carbon footprint, I’m a massive Apple fan but that’s just a marketing ploy. The real reason is so save money.

If you have a 7 or 8, it's pretty much a no brainier to get one of the newer iPhones because of all of the upgrade the 12 have gotten

One thing I think a lot of people are missing about the new iPhones is that the MagSafe magnet’s purpose is to get everyone to start charging their devices wirelessly instead of using traditional charging bricks. Why? Because Apple is a lot closer to releasing a port less phone than we think. I really wouldn’t be surprised if the 13 lineup is just that 🤪

I agree that the 6.1 inch iPhone 12 is the best overall value. However, if I owned an iPhone 11 I'd probably wait...that's my personal thoughts. If I upgrade I want to feel like I have an entirely new experience with my device and coming from an 11 Pro Max to a iPhone 12 or Pro Max would not offer that feeling. Wait on the 13.

Many more people aren’t upgrading for “new features” on a new iPhone, but many do it, because they just have the money to do so. Notice how many people express in their comments saying “I’m upgrading because I just want the latest and greatest”.

So to them no big deal....for me on the other hand, I’m still looking for that damn quarter I lost under my bed 3 days ago😭
