It can go both ways. I worked. He lived on weed and unemployment. I had perfect credit and paid the bills. He job hopped and pawned things. I stayed. He wanted out. I was mandated for insurance, he had $75 a month support that took 10 years of garnishing his unemployment to collect on 3 years support until she was out of school.
