I just grabbed a deck of these off eBay for $16. I'm blown away. First I thought they were just a gimmicky design. I was so wrong. The adaptive aesthetics is mind boggling and so much fun to play with. The stock...oh man the stock. In my opinion, it's absolutely perfect. Once broken in, it's buttery smooth. I've been learning lepaul spreads and struggling to get the spread even. This deck helped me nail down my proper technique. Now I'm working towards spreading the whole deck out. They also helped me learn one handed shuffles! I struggled with weaving the packets together. The edges are smooth and sexy, so interlacing a shuffle one handed was crisp af. When faroed, the packets just melt together. Being new with one hand shuffles, I can't consistently keep the packets as square as they need to be in order to execute a one handed faro. This is the only deck I've been able to faro one handed. I don't consider myself a cardist, or cardician, I just consider myself someone who likes to fiddle with and collect cards. I'd do anything to get a brick of these. They're so worth it. I would prolly sell my body to get a deck of the older models. I'd love to see what my moves look like with a bordered design. One of the Virts gave a couple hints about the plans for 2017. He said they definitely will be staying with the border less Back, and that we can expect different "types", what ever that meant. He was definitely trying not to give too much away. Now I need to try a Fontaine deck to see if that's just hype. Hopefully I'll be blown away again! Thanks David!

I wonder why they call it the SS16. All their cards have been released in the late summer, except the Launch Edition, which has its own name.
