I drive a '13 SE hatch 5 speed manual and I'm 6 feet tall flat footed. This is the most comfortable small car I've ever driven.

Thank you! we appreciate the feedback, our editor in chief personally thinks the audio quality is great for what it is, its actually much better than what Honda has in their Fit. It accelerates pretty well for what it is, we'd recommend the 5MT of course, or wait for the upcoming 2014 Fiesta ST ;)

Because this is still a sub-compact car and it is common for just the driver window only in this price range. Move up to a Focus and you will auto up/down for all 4 windows on higher trims

I have a 2011 Fiesta SES it is a great car. Went from Calif. to Arkansas and back in 10 day with 3 adults and luggage. No problem, we were very comfortable. gas migage was 38mpg, I get 33+ around town in So. Calif. Also mine has a button on the shifter for when you are on a hill. If i push it on a hill the car do not roll back.

The Fiesta's A/C is much stronger, you shouldn't run into that problem with this vehicle.

All cars these days have an "idiot gauge" which just locks to the center position across a wide range of actual engine temperatures, because dealers were tired of getting complaints from people who saw their (real) temperature gauge creeping up slightly in traffic or when climbing a hill and they were scared that it meant the engine was overheating. So, I don't mind not having a temperature gauge in my Mazda2; it has a blue indicator light when the engine is cold and a red one for overheating.

I believe we were referring to the Honda Fit not being good for long road trips, the Fiesta is much more comfortable

Don't be afraid of the 1.0 Litre Ecoboost, our Focus has it and it rides just awesome, the quietest engine for the Focus in Europe, it will handle the Fiesta just nice. :)

I noticed as you were exiting the parking area to get on the main road, there was quite a delay in acceleration after you basically stomped on the gas pedal. That's a bit scary I think especially if you're planning to make a left turn w/ oncoming traffic. Apparently it won't scoot so quickly. Thoughts? Better response w/ the Focus hatch?

Great review! I'm glad they added leather seats as standard. This seems to me as though its the luxury car of the subcompact segment.
