Someone in blizzard one day woke up and was like "hmm the community desperately asks for a buff for the mistweaver, let's satisfy them and decrease the mana cost from 2.2% to 2.1%!"

Honestly I think holy Paladin needs to have the mana bar removed and go with some form of energy bar with holy power. Or keep the mana bar and give something new that’s big and super mana expensive. Maybe something takes 30-60% mana bar and gives 3-5 holy power. The main issue is that if an hpal doesn’t use hl/fol mana doesn’t really exist (until like 40% haste when you can start ooming from holy shock spam)

That doesnt fix anything for Mistweavers, as their core problem is a missing design philosophy. It is torn by mid-beta-state of 2 possible directions: either classical range healing or monkfantasy melee kickweaving. Both concepts dont fully work at this point and have their very own issues which are not fixed by fiddling around with mana numbers.

I'd make AToTM Baseline, smarttargeting low-hp & proc mastery + make soothing mist channel autotarget everyone with renewing mist up in addition to its primary target. This way each Mistweaver would have actual mana management (kickweaving for mana conservive mid-level healing & dps uptime / ranged soothing+vivify cleave for heavy mana investment emergency healing).

I mean why not nerf SS further? make it 60% but buff disc dmg by 10-20%. They are supposed to be the "heal by dealing dmg" class while they are outclassed by almost every other healer in terms of dmg. Also if you buff dmg then u can make SS cooldown longer since you can actually atonement heal in between SS casts.

I don't think I'll even feel this on Hpala. The only thing that slows me down is the GCD or if you somehow blow your HP.

I want them to come out and announce early that when these changes go live we can swap to another covenant with no penalty. They have said before it might be an option. It would be nice to know early so if not we can swap and earn back the renown

I actually hope they wont buff any covenants for druid. I didnt just pick night fae because convoke is the best, it is also by far the most fun and satisfying ability

As a resto shaman that went Night Fae for the transmog, this makes me happy. The targeting of fae transfusion's healing always felt really off/weird though. Either way, im happy with the buffs :)

I think you should be able to upgrade the items to 226, but it should cost quite a lot of points, so its not gonna be spammed and its good if they introduce it like that. They can still add higher ranks to the system as soon as its in place, and maybe they add it still before the patch.

If they want to make raids the best source of pve Gear - they should add that the achivement of raiding 10/10 H upgrade the rank up to 226 and 10/10 M upgrade the rank up to 233 or something like that - 2 types of points also (M+ Valor Points and Raiding Epic Points) Epic Points could help you to upgrade your last pieces to 226 or 233

MW should feature ATOTM as a baseline ability as well as rising mist so kickweaving is how the spec is done. This frees up talents for things like mitigation or more healing things. This would give us a meaningful lvl 50 talent choice rather than a current auto pick

I feel like it should go to the same I’ll as mythic raids if you do high enough keys. It’s not like 25+ is easier than mythic raids but you get nothing from it.

I agree with you that it's a bit odd the pve gearing stops at 220 for keystone master.
I'm one of the few people who was able to get the 233 staff in the first vault, and I think that pve gearing should at least reflect duelist. It makes sense that 233 weapons are only acquired through last two bosses, and gladiator level pvp

So when they looked at mistweaver and what to buff they concluded that renewing mist was the problem?? Wtf ahahah

covenant catchup is super easy. you get renown doing LFR and normal raid bosses. almost 1 renown per boss

I play a mistweaver. I have a little mana problems.

Ret Paladin needs a buff in PVE. It's impossible to stay on top of the dmg meters as Ret Paladin in longer fights. Don't get me wrong, Ret Paladin has good short burst, but for longer fights they simply fall behind a lot of other classes.

Maybe some tiny buffs to a few talents would do the trick.

Isn't there actually a buff to Primordial Wave for Resto Shamans? It does say "your next healing wave will also heal targets affected by your riptide for 100 -> 150% of normal damage. Doesn't this mean that they are buffing the proc effect of primordial?
