This is brilliant. The contrast between the upbeat instrumentals with the dark and moody lyrics (and the original) is stellar. And the bridge! So good. I'd call this one of PMJ's all-time greats.

I am absolutely blown away by this as a clarinetist! Vintage jazz requires a lot of skill to play and she makes it look effortless, even with the upper register! And then she sings as well, beautifully! This lady has inspired me! (Also, I've never seen a mouthpiece and barrel that look like that before, so those were neat, too!)
