Alexander deserves an award for his excellent performance and The Last Kingdom deserves an Emmy award. Congrats to Netflix for supporting this show and we, the fans are extremely grateful.

Like so many Euro-raised people, Alexander seems to have such affinity for language. I have heard interviews with him where he uses a perfect British accent, here he adjusts to his interviewer and audience and uses American English brilliantly. I can hear a tiny touch of his French background (my ex was French and pronounced his "r" at the end of a sentence in the same way) and the cadence is a little German. But it is so faint. His English is excellent - he obviously has a great ear. If he leaves acting he can work as an interpreter. LOL
