Sir iska hum vcom se bhi kar skte heina like this
Vcom= m1v1+m2v2/m1+m2
And the vcom is zero because bomb is at rest of 16 kg the Mass total is at rest
Then,
Vcom= m1v1+m2v2/m1+m2
Putting the vcom is zero
This form like this
m1v1= -m2v2
4(v)=-12(4)
V= - 12(4)/4
V= -12
