VANCOUVER JAPADOG + WORLD’S BEST VANCOUVER AIRPORT HOTEL

I stayed at a world's best airport hotel inside Vancouver airport. The Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver is located inside Vancouver Airport on the international wing. The hotel is ranked by CNN as one of the world's best 5-star airport hotels (aka best airport hotels). I stayed at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel two times- before and after my trip to the Arctic Ocean. This stay was *not* sponsored. But it was a convenient hotel given that one of my legs was an overnight layover in Vancouver.

This is also my first time eating Japadog in Vancouver BC. Japadog is a Japanese hot dog originating in Vancouver Canada and is a popular must try street food in Vancouver. Check out the Japadog menu in this video to see the assortment. I found this Japadog stand right outside the airport on my way to the metro train. There are more Japadog joints in downtown Vancouver with potentially larger Japadog menus. I wanted to try this immediately in case I wasn't able to locate one in the city.

YVR Airport is a nice and convenient airport with many resources for travelers, such as information, food, and the international and domestic wings located less than 10 minutes apart on the same level.

I’ve been through Vancouver airport many, many times on business travel usually making connections on the way to somewhere else but I did not know that they had a hotel there right at the airport. My career has been in aerospace so I have a special place in my heart for airplanes and airports. When I saw the view you had out of your hotel room window, I was green with envy. I could just sit there with coffee cup ☕️ in hand looking out the window and just spend the whole day and night watching the planes come and go. It's been a long time since I have been to the Vancouver BC airport, about 9 years ago now, but even then it was an impressive airport! I loved the place, and can see why you had such a great time there. That hotel looked amazing! I almost stayed at the hotel inside the Incheon airport a couple of years ago, but was too cheap to pay for the more than $125 room, haha. I just crashed on one of the lounge chairs they had around there, and used the free shower they supply for outbound passengers. I think I would love to try the Japadog with maybe the kimchi condiments. Thanks for sharing another great video, Christine!

Christine given I started driving a taxi then a limo back and forth to Denver International airport shortly after it opened which cost over 1 billion to build I can truly appreciate this airport and the view you had out your window. I did kind of laugh when you said you might stand naked in front of the window)----your sense of humor brings a smile to my face please do not sensor your playfulness and off the wall comments uniquely your own!!---DIA just recently added I believe a Hyatt in the airport like the room you had in Vancouver airport. I always get to the airport extra early call me crazy! but I do not like to rush to airport, I love people watching, this airport looks like one to check out & experience. Again you did a awesome job when really you did not even have to create any content about the airport.

Fun video. There's a Marriott at IAH in Houston. It's not in one of the terminals, but kind of in the middle of everything and can be reached by underground tram that runs under the entire airport.
