My 1 PROBLEM With Beauty Pageants..

I hoped Miss Manila won, but she didn't. Totally okay. The winner was deserving. 🙂 I like Beauty Pageants. I have nothing against them and I think they're a lot of fun. I just wish the way we graded them could change a bit.

I'm not sure how much weight MUP gives to interviews, beauty, and preliminary competitions.

But at Miss Universe, many have mentioned that BEHAVIOR (as observed by chaperones and staff behind the scenes) is also given importance in determining who will make it into the semis. That's why many "bitchy" frontrunners don't make the first cut.

There's a lot of pageants that don't have attractive contestants, but they do a lot of charity work and help out in their communities and own their own businesses.

I love all your videos and your honesty and all the work you put with these videos. I disagree with your take on pageants. Beauty pageants are viewed as something external because the alternative would be heroes. The culture doesn't take it too seriously or something as platform. Pinoys view is as it is. A contest of who's the fairest. It fine the way it is and there's a reason for that.
