I had a feeling Ferdinand would win, but not with that time. The women's times were also not impressive. Their semis demonstrated that they would've run well under 10 and 11.

Well deserved.Hard working athlete.He is one of those outside the US spheres of champion of blue ribbon events that can boldly go toe to toe with the top 3 or 4 speed merchants in their ranks.The retirement of Usain Bolt has left a wide gap between Jaimacan male runners and the US.The Kenyan bullet could be the one that could be giving stiff competition in World competition.In retrospect the Italian gold medal hero which slipped off my list is another top ranked competitor considering his colourful pedigree.
