Bearef is a virtual reality training tool for soccer referees.

How does it work? Refs run on a special treadmill that can change direction to follow a virtual soccer match. They even blow whistles with their real mouths — just like a real match.

At the end of the training, they get a report card outlining their strengths and weaknesses.

Developed by an Israeli startup, Bearef is expected to be used by the Israeli Premier League next season.
