I found a GOLD MINE for Honda Parts | Junkyard Vlog

When you're building a Honda Civic on a budget, a Junkyard may as well be a shopping mall! Surrounded by the Virus stuff happening, I take you along on my monthly Junk Yard run to show you what I look for when picking Honda Parts for CHEAP! Welcome to my Junkyard Vlog!

By popular request, I decided to vlog my experience at my local junkyard! I look forward to these trips every couple weeks to check out new inventory and go on a Honda parts treasure hunt. You NEVER know what you'll find in these places! Almost my entire interior in my Honda civic was replaced with junkyard parts. Some of my exterior parts as well. Many 90's Hondas that are no longer on the road typically come here to get picked apart before the scrapper. It's sad to think about, but at least you can give these parts new life!

The jalopy Jungle costs ONLY $1 to get in! And this dollar covers you on all 4 locations with hundreds and hundreds of cars. Cost of the parts will vary, but I've never spent more than $100 pulling most parts. You can pull an engine for roughly $300. This all started because of an Instagram post I made vlogging my experience at a junkyard. People loved it and wanted to see more of the junkyard vibes and some of the cool stuff you'll find. In my last run I found a rare OEM high spoiler from a 99-00 Honda Civic, but this run I wasn't so lucky. I didn't pull anything I needed or wanted but perhaps I'll have better luck on the next run!

If you guys like this style of content, be sure to let me know in the comments so I can do it more! This is something I do anyhow, so it doesn't take much to bring a camera with me. Thanks for watching!

Also you need to check Integras and crvs cause there's a lot of interchangeable parts. Like I have crv seats in my coupe(had to swap rails to fit) or the crv clusters fit np

That's a clean looking Honda, especially for the age.
What parts would you recommend buying at the junk yard to have on spare? I'm trying to build myself a little inventory of parts that I'll probably need eventually to keep my Honda rolling on the cheap.

I was thinking ignition coils, EGR valve, fuel injectors, and I don't know what else to add to the list. Open to suggestions.

This was fun. I hope you do more of these. It’s always worth a dollar to get junk in the trunk.

Been a while since I saw the Civic and she is still freakin beautiful! Man I wish more people took better care of these cars. It pains me to see them all jacked up on the road.

10:30 The same thing happened to me the last time I went to the junkyard, then I realized I was only a couple miles from Midway Airport in Chicago.

I found an original SI EK grill for $50 on a junkyard. Needed a little fixing and that's it. I love how it looks on my EK Sedan!😎💪

Junkyard unicorns: The 90 Lx 4dr Civic(big brakes), 92-93 Integra(Brakes and large shaft Cable tranny) and 92-95 Ex or Si Civics(wiring, P28's and sensors).

Get them disk brake upgrades, them cable trannys and those OBD1 ECU's
I want to find a old 88-89(square cluster) CRX HF gauge cluster, 8k tach that has a 5k Redline. Perfect for a b16, Vtec starts at Redline and shift when the needle pegs out.

Glad to see I'm not the only person who has that exact thought about whom ever wrecked some of these cars. Also kudos for being one of the few people that exercise proper salvage yard edict 👍
