Interdependence of key business functions (Business Studies)

In the HSC Business Studies course, there are four key business functions (KBFs): marketing, operations, finance and HR.

In terms of Business Studies, finance underpins everything. The other KBFs cannot function without money.

But finance also relies on the other KBFs. Finance needs the business to run, successfully, so there's revenue coming in (and profit) which can then collected by finance and allocated to other areas.

The KBFs rely on each other.
