I love first time bloomers, especially when it's a new cross and you don't know what it's going to look like!

Thank you Roger, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years, you and whole family. Thank you for making us part of your family and sharing your adventures with us. Always enjoy your insights and the many tips you provide. Because of you, Danny, Rick and Micheal my precious phal is rocking with its roots and think I see a spike coming also. Great way to start a New Year indeed. Anyway hope to hear from you before the new year and if not, do enjoy !!!

Encyclia polybulbon as I call it, has lovely brown white flowers that normally flush open all at once. They are also pleasantly scented, seemed it reminded me of licorice. They do last quite a while. Mine died and it's on the replacement list but having trouble locating one. By the way, that's a !ovely specimen sized plant!
And happy holidays to you too!

Hi Roger, I hate to bother you but I have a problem with my dendrobium nobile comet king akatsuki that I was wondring if you could help me out with. I have had it in winter rest now for about a month, and it has progressively lost some leaves on the old canes. Today, I see that it has rapidly killed off since the day before yesterday a leaf on one of the new growths! None of the canes are dehydrated, not even the old ones. Is this normal? Should I bring it out of rest? freaking out a bit because i thought they only lost leaves on the old growth :( thanks so much for all the effor that you put into your videos! I just love watching them!
